About Iconic Glam Kids

Founded in 2019. 55+ issues.

Iconic Glam Kids (formerly Iconic Fashion Kids) began the way many things do, with a mother and a moment.

It started with a daughter, and the way she lit up in front of a camera. She was photogenic in that effortless way some children just are. One of the bigger companies featured her for her photo, and there was a feeling that came with it. The first time a parent watches the world catch up to what they already knew.

Millennial parents recognize this moment. The one where the spark first shows itself. Whatever it is, drawing, dancing, climbing, performing, building, asking too many questions, they see it before anyone else does. And then begins everything that follows. The classes. The driving across town. The early mornings. The Saturday tournaments. The trade-offs only the parent feels. The creative journey of a child is also a journey for the parent. Nobody talks about that one.

So a watching began. When a child wins, the spotlight goes to the child. The trophy is theirs. The article is about them. But where is the parent who drove them to practice for three years before that moment? Where is the family that ate dinner in the car between rehearsals? Where is the story of the years before the world saw what the parent saw first? What was the rhythm the family followed? Every story is worth reading.

It not only inspires other families, but offers something more practical too. Ideas that could work for their own home. Stories that mirror what they may already be going through. Sometimes the most useful thing a magazine can give a parent is the simple recognition that another family is living a version of the same chapter.

So it was built. Founded in 2019 and now in our 55th issue, Iconic Glam Kids has grown into a publishing house dedicated to creative children and the parents who believed in them first. We don’t document the trophy moment. We document the journey that made it possible.

Behind every ‘Icon’ you see today is a parent who believed in them first.

You may wonder, what about babies? What about the years before the spark even has a name?

Those years are why Notes exists. The 0-to-5 magazine covers the entire arc of early childhood, from the first weeks of new motherhood, through the baby and toddler years, to the early stirrings of personality at four and five. The first time she reached for color. The way he turned toward music before he could speak. The new-mom moments that pass too quickly to remember unless someone documents them. Notes is for the parent who already sees what others would miss. Notes captures the small noticings.

Stories, the 6-to-13 magazine, is for the next chapter. The years when a child has chosen something. A sport, an instrument, a craft, a way of seeing. The parent has been driving to lessons for years by then. The spark has become a discipline. Stories tells the longer arcs.

A publishing house for every stage of childhood.
